Pipe carriers
The latest product from SDV Roofracks, due to be launched January 2007, is a 3m x 150mm aluminium lockable pipe carrier. This product has been developed following numerous requests for a wider diameter tube and will fulfil the needs of most users. Our 4” tube is still being manufactured.
New Ford Transit
New Ford Transit
The new Ford Transit was launched early in 2006 resulting in a facelift, creating a front looking very similar to the Transit Connect.
Good news for Transit owners, the rainwater channel remains untouched and so we can continue to manufacture and sell roof racks without any increases to current prices.
Mercedes Benz Sprinter / VW Crafter
Mercedes Benz has given the new Sprinter a complete design overhaul. In this case, the designers have followed the lead of many of the more modern vans and taken away the rainwater channel. The VW Crafter has the same body.
SDV are hot on the tail of the new design and have been working in conjunction with one of our van dealerships to ensure we have taken measurements and designed the necessary fixings in order to accommodate the new design. The first of the newly designed racks went into production at the end of July 2006!
